A brief historical look back.....hotel Molveno is one of the oldest hotel in the whole region and the oldest in Molveno town; it was built in 1906 thanks to the Trentino's Society of alpinist(Sat) that believed that a little town called Molveno and all the mountains around it could become a very popular and famous turistic destination. That is why they decided to start building the hotel in order to let people have the possibility to sleep in this beautiful place. The Sat decided that one of his member, Attilio Bettega, would have become the first owner of the building.Slowly, but with many capacities,after having bought all the shares from the other members, Attilio Bettega started to plasm what was almost just a mountain dew into an international hotel able to develop even the town around it. Customers of those years were characters as the king of Belgium, Freud, Marconi, Nobile...that were attracted by the position of the hotel, just on the lake and in front of the mountains and by the beauty of the location.
